The star is teaming up with Sephora to donate proceeds from her Rare Beauty line for Mental Health Day.

The pop star’s company is teaming up with the brand to benefit the Rare Impact Fund on October 10 – Mental Health Day – for the second year in a row.

Gomez has frankly discussed her own struggles with bipolar disorder since her diagnosis in 2018.

‘The mental health crisis continues to impact young people disproportionately and partners like Sephora are instrumental, not only by believing in this mission, but by contributing crucial funds to expand mental health resources for the young people who need them,’ she stated in a press release.
The singer and actress founded the Rare Impact Fund with the goal of mobilizing $100 million for organizations to increase access to youth mental health services, as well as education around the world.

Rare Beauty donates one percent of its sales directly, while the fund also raises money through support from individuals, corporate partners, its community, and other philanthropic organizations.

Selena, the founder of Rare Beauty, was seen posing with a display of her products at the event, held at a Sephora in Soho.
