Stefan Mross (48) beams with joy when talking about the upcoming season of his successful show. ‘The long wait is over: We’re starting again,’ announces the host full of anticipation. After a winter break, ‘Immer wieder sonntags’ returns to screens on June 15, 2025.

Live from Europa-Park Rust

The popular music and entertainment show will once again be broadcast live from the Europa-Park Resort in Rust this year. Every Sunday at 10 AM, viewers can look forward to emotional moments, music, and surprise guests. The show runs until the end of August and can be watched both on Das Erste and in the ARD Media Library.

‘I’m excited that child stars and young chart participants will be singing right next to the biggest names in the music industry,’ explains Mross, describing his philosophy. This mix of established artists and emerging talents creates the special appeal of the show for him. He hopes that love will also blossom under the schlager sky – and is even planning romantic surprises: As part of the ‘Love is in the air’ campaign, schlager fans will get an unusual dating opportunity.

More than 120 artists will perform this year, some of them under the motto ‘Dishes with History’ in the ‘Star Kitchen.’ There, they will prepare a dish in front of the audience that is connected to a personal story.

Already on June 15, prominent guests such as Hansi Hinterseer, Peggy March, Oli P., and Claudia Jung are expected. This combination of music and culinary stories promises intimate insights into the stars’ lives. Singer and actress Ronja Forcher will also return as a reporter. She visits people who have accomplished something special and who truly deserve a heartfelt thank you. Additionally, she will appear as a singer on the show.

30 Years of Show History

‘Immer wieder sonntags’ turns 30 this year and has been hosted by Stefan Mross since 2005. The show has been broadcast from Europa-Park Resort in Rust since 1998 and is considered one of Germany’s most successful entertainment shows.
