Timothy Bradley doesnât believe Oleksandr Usyk is an all-time great.
The Ukrainian defeated Tyson Fury for the second time this year winning via a score of 116-112 on all three judges scorecards.
Having now beaten Fury and Anthony Joshua twice and Daniel Dubois there are not many challenges left for âThe Catâ.
His move to heavyweight happened after he completely cleaned out the Cruiserweight division and along with his achievements in amateur boxing it would seem bizarre not to acknowledge his amazing accomplishments in the sport.
Timothy Bradley has other ideas thoughâŚ
âAll this, all-time great s**t thatâs going on, are you kidding me?â he said. âLook, recency bias. Just because he beat two best heavyweights of this era does not make him an all-time great.â
Furthermore Bradley doesnât think Usyk has done enough at heavyweight.
He didnât clean out the division.â Bradley continued, âHe beat the two best guys. Now you are saying he is an all-time great with 22 fights. Wow.
Fight fans took to X formerly Twitter and reacted to the video.
So we are just going to ignore Cruiserweight. Why do Americans hate Usyk?, one asked.
Another added: âTim Bradley losing a LOT of credit for that take! Usyk beat everyone at CW. Then moved up to HW, at a big physical disadvantage, and cleaned up. Beating the best multiple times.
If anything, based on accomplishments, Tim has zero right to even talk about such an all-time great.â
A third said: âSounds like Timothy Bradley is jealous.â
Is Usyk an all-time great? Let us know in the comments.
