After months of maternity leave, a secret cancer battle, and stepping back from the spotlight, Kat Timpf is officially returning to television — and in the most Kat Timpf way possible: sarcastic, sharp, and surrounded by chaos.
The 36-year-old Fox News personality, who became a mom earlier this year and quietly underwent breast cancer treatment, just announced she’ll be starring in a new unscripted Fox Nation series titled What Did I Miss?. Teaming up with longtime friend and late-night host Greg Gutfeld, as well as comedian Jamie Lissow, the show promises to deliver “reality TV, news trivia, and total madness — all rolled into one.”
The twist? Four contestants were sent into isolation from January 20 to April 13, with zero access to the outside world — no phones, no internet, no news, and definitely no cable news. Now, back in the real world, they must decipher what actually happened during their 90-day media blackout… and what’s pure fiction.
Each episode of the show, which will stream on Fox Nation, challenges the contestants to determine which recent events are real — and which were made up. With a $500,000 grand prize on the line, the stakes (and the laughs) are sky-high.
Kat confirmed her return via a post on X (formerly Twitter), writing:
“V excited for this; I’m on the panel w my weird little friend @jamie_lissow 🥳😎”, quoting Gutfeld’s own announcement.
The show premieres May 12, with new episodes airing on May 13 and 14, all exclusively on Fox Nation.
Lauren Petterson, President of Fox Nation, called the series “an outrageous blend of pop culture, politics, and paranoia,” and praised the timing of Kat’s return. “Kat has always brought wit and wisdom to our platform, but now she brings even more heart. We’re thrilled to have her back, and in such a fresh format.”
The panel, led by Gutfeld, will include commentary from Kat and Lissow as contestants face off in front of a live audience, reacting in real time to the madness of real-world news — and the absurdity of the made-up ones.
After months of silence and recovery, fans are thrilled to welcome Kat back. One fan wrote, “She’s back and better than ever — and this show sounds absolutely bonkers in the best way.”
And in true Timpf fashion, she’s diving right back in with her signature humor and unapologetic edge.
“Motherhood, cancer, and now this reality game show? I’ve been through worse,” she joked on her podcast teaser. “At least here I get to sit down.”
Set your calendars — this is one comeback you can’t miss.
