Fan dọa không xem The Voice Mỹ nếu Blake Shelton và Adam Levine rời 'ghế nóng'

Adam Levine and Blake Shelton were frenemies at first sight (spite?) during season 1 of The Voice back in 2011. The tatted-up Maroon 5 frontman and the drawling country star brought plenty of banter and snark until Levine’s exit following season 16. Now, as the “Moves Like Jagger” heartthrob gears up for his anxiously-awaited return to the big red chair, Shelton has announced his very own singing competition series. What could both musicians’ return to reality TV mean for OG viewers of The Voice?

Blake Shelton Will Host ‘The Road’

Adam Levine Says Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani Together Is "So Wrong But Right"

On Monday (Nov. 11) Blake Shelton announced plans to hit The Road with Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan for a new CBS docuseries.

Sheridan and the “Hillbilly Bone” singer will serve as executive producers on The Road. Set to launch in fall 2025, the show follows a still-unannounced “headlining superstar” on their quest to discover “the next big artist.”

The Road “offers viewers a backstage pass into the gritty and unforgiving life of a touring artist,” according to a news release from Paramount+. “With exclusive access to the behind-the-scenes workings of the music industry, viewers will see what happens when some of the best up-and-coming performers pile into a tour bus and tackle a grueling schedule in pursuit of their dreams.”

What Could This Mean For the Blake-Adam Bromance?

Adam Levine is set to make his Voice comeback during the spring of 2025. The three-time Grammy Award winner will join Kelsea Ballerini, Michael Bublé and John Legend on the season 27 coaching panel.

Blake Shelton won’t premiere The Road until fall 2025, with the exact date still unknown. That’s just in time for season 28 of The Voice, giving the duo a prime opportunity to renew their friendly-ish rivalry.

However, as The Voice has yet to announce the season 28 coaching lineup, it’s unclear if Levine will return to his big red chair after season 27. But OG fans of The Voice are no doubt keeping their fingers crossed for another Blake Shelton-Adam Levine showdown.
