Jake Paul challenged Anthony Joshua after claiming the former heavyweight champion “has no chin.”
The controversial YouTuber-turned-boxer has had 12 professional fights, with most of his opponents being MMA stars.
However, he last moved up to heavyweight to beat the legendary Mike Tyson on points in November.
Now Paul has set his sights on another heavyweight, Joshua, and is convinced he will beat the Brit following his knockout loss to Daniel Dubois at Wembley in September.
However, Paul insists he wants to test himself against the best, having come close to agreeing to a big showdown with Canelo Álvarez earlier this year.
He was also recently linked with a fight against Gervonta Davis, only for the lightweight champion to draw with Lamont Roach in New York, and a rematch between the two now seems likely.
Paul is still looking for his next opponent and has now floated the idea of facing Joshua
.
Joshua hasn’t been seen in the ring since losing to Dubois six months ago, and his promoter Eddie Hearn recently revealed he is currently recovering from a minor injury.
The two-time heavyweight champion has made it clear he wants to fight Tyson Fury next, but his fellow Briton announced his retirement in January and has yet to back down.
Rematches with Dubois or Joseph Parker also remain potential options for Joshua as he seeks one last push to reclaim the heavyweight title.
