Nicole Kidman is known for her formidable on-screen talent, but she can definitely give her husband Keith Urban a run for his money in the singing department as well. The Australian couple exercised their duet skills Monday night (Apr. 23), delivering an acoustic performance of Urban’s “Parallel Line” to a scaled-down, exclusive crowd in Nashville for a Spotify Fans First event.
Urban shared a short clip of the sweet musical moment, in which he stands and strums his guitar as his wife sits and harmonizes along to his vocals. The caption included just three hashtags: “#ParallelLine,” “#SpotifyFansFirst” and “#GraffitiU.” The song is the second single from Urban’s forthcoming 10th studio album, Graffiti U, which will be released this Friday (Apr. 27).
This is only the most recent example of Kidman and Urban collaborating musically. The Big Little Lies actress lent background vocals to “Female,” the first single from Urban’s next album. In 2016, the pair posted a video on Urban’s YouTube channel of themselves singing along to his Carrie Underwood collaboration, “The Fighter,” in which Kidman took over the female vocals.
