Michael Bublé Teams Up With Carly Pearce For Opry Debut

Carly Pearce and Michael Bublé released their original Christmas duet in November. The song and Bublé made their Opry debut on December 15th. The song is titled “Maybe This Christmas,” and Bublé hopes it will be an anthem of hope during the holidays. In an interview with Opry, Bublé said:

I think it’s a tough time for a lot of people, and they feel very vulnerable, and many people feel really alone. And so I wanted to write a song that would be the anthem, you know, of hope for those people.”

Like many people around the holidays, the song tells the story of two lonely souls during Christmas.

However, this year, the duo thinks it might be different. Maybe they won’t have to spend another year alone because they have each other.

The opening lyrics are:

“I’ve been running all my life

I’ve been trying to get it right

Sentimentally, the thing I do well
