Michael Chandler TAUNTS Conor McGregor Following Logan Paul Fight Announcement

Michael Chandler continues to seek the biggest fight in MMA.

The former three-time Bellator lightweight champion was initially scheduled to face Conor McGregor in February 2023, but nearly two years later they have yet to exchange blows in the UFC Octagon.

‘Iron Mike’ took an interim fight against Charles Oliveira at UFC 309 , and after losing a decision in November, he once again set his sights on MMA’s biggest star.

Now Michael Chandler has reacted to McGregor’s idea of fighting someone else.

On Tuesday, McGregor shocked the world when he took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to reveal that he is “in preliminary agreements” for his comeback fight .

The former two-weight UFC champion has claimed he will put on a boxing exhibition against YouTuber-turned-WWE star Logan Paul , who he thought was about to knock out Floyd Mayweather when they met three years ago.

Nothing official has been announced yet, but McGregor is still talking about the crossover matchup, which he believes could earn him another $100 million and a new PPV record.

Chandler has been oddly quiet since it was revealed that he may have missed her ‘Red Panties Night.’

On Saturday, he sent a message to McGregor after tweeting during the heavyweight championship rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury.

The Irishman wrote: “I pray for peace in the world and war in the ring!”

Chandler replied: “Ring, cage, tatami, mat, whatever you want to call it. All you have to do is step forward.”

Michael Chandler looking to replace Conor McGregor

Chandler understands that his fight with McGregor may never happen.

The 38-year-old recently named a rising lightweight star, known for his sharp tongue, as a possible alternative if McGregor ends up boxing Paul.

“Paddy [Pimblett] versus me is going to happen at some point, I’m not sure when, but it’s definitely a fight I’m interested in,” Chandler told Lucky Block.

“It’s definitely a fight that will be fun for the fans. It will make people feel something. Paddy the Baddy, what he stands for, who he is, me, what I stand for, who I am, both styles of fighting. Chandler versus Paddy, it sounds fun and it will definitely happen.

“Will he be next? I don’t know, but he definitely could be. If Conor doesn’t come back, Paddy Pimblett is a great option, but the London card [in March] might come too soon for us, so maybe Vegas in the summer.”
