Rockefeller Center Shines As Blake Shelton And Gwen Stefani Deliver An Adorable Duet

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani lit up the stage with their duet of “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” during NBC’s 90th Annual Christmas in Rockefeller Center. The festive performance, held on November 30 in New York City, was a memorable part of the evening.

“You Make It Feel Like Christmas” is a joyful duet co-written by Stefani and Shelton that became the centerpiece of Stefani’s first holiday album, released in 2017.

“I wanna thank the storm that brought the snow/ Thanks to the string of lights that make it glow/ But I want to thank you, baby/ You make it feel like Christmas,” Shelton crooned before the two sang together.

“Sweet gingerbread made with molasses/ My heart skipped and I reacted/ Can’t believe that this has happened/ Like a present sent from God/Sleigh bells singing hallelujah/ Stars are shining on us, too/I want to thank you, baby/ You make it feel like Christmas.”

Stefani stunned in a strapless emerald green gown, while Shelton kept it casual in a red and black flannel and jeans. Together, their harmonious voices perfectly captured the holiday spirit.

Their stunning collaboration is a favorite during the Christmas season, with many people revisiting it year after year.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani shared with US Weekly their favorite holiday tradition. “Gwen and I, our tradition has become cooking during Christmas — and not just like your normal, typical [dishes],” Shelton said.

“But we always challenge ourselves and try to come up with a different, weird, complicated, difficult thing to cook every year. It started one year [when] she wanted to do a beef Wellington, which is not easy, by the way.”

Shelton also confessed “singing with Gwen is way harder than cooking with her.” He continued, “Cooking is easy for us because neither one of us really knows what we’re doing, and all we do is laugh the whole time. With music, we actually take [it] seriously.”
