“King of Country Music” George Strait Sets Record For Largest Ever Ticketed Concert In America

The previous record was held by rock band the Grateful Dead (a group famous for their lengthy improvised live jams), who played for 107,019 attendees in 1977 at Raceway Park in Englishtown, New Jersey.
