Who will be the coaches for The Voice season 27?
To the surprise of all The Voice fans, the show revealed in June 2024 one original coach would be joining the show as a mentor for season 27.
“Season 27, yes I’m coming back,” Adam Levine said in a clip posted on Instagram. “I’m so excited. I cannot wait. I’m well rested. I’m ready to go. I’m a little nervous … I’m not nervous, but I’m so excited, and it’s going to be great. I can’t wait. It’s gonna be awesome … Team Adam is back, and I feel bad for the other teams. Let’s go.”
With that piece of exciting news, let’s take a look at the entire lineup of coaches on The Voice season 27:
For the first time since his exit after The Voice season 16 in May 2019, Adam Levine joins the quartet of coaches for season 27. Famous for being the frontman of Maroon 5, he won the series three times (seasons 1, 5 and 9) throughout his tenure.
Country superstar Kelsea Ballerini will make her coaching debut as one of the mentors for The Voice season 27. She previously appeared on The Voice season 15, when she was a coach for the Comeback Stage of the competition. She returned for season 16 to be an advisor for Kelly Clarkson during the Battle rounds, and later stepped in for Kelly for a stint during season 20.
Back for his second season as a coach, Michael Bublé will try and vie for his artist to win season 27. Along with being a coach in season 26, he was also a Team advisor for Blake Shelton during the Battle rounds in season 3.
After exiting The Voice for season 26, John Legend makes his grand return as coach for season 27. He was also a mentor from seasons 16-22, and again for seasons 24 and 25.
