Kanye West posted and deleted a fraught and frantic exchange with Kim Kardashian after their daughter North was heard on his latest song with incarcerated rapper Diddy. The disgraced hip hop mogul is currently awaiting trial on sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution charges and facing a wave of lawsuits
Kanye West has leaked disturbing text messages appearing to showcase a furious exchange with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, after she discovered their daughter North appears on his new track with disgraced rapper Diddy.
Diddy – real name Sean Combs – is currently behind bars charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He is also facing a string of allegations in a series of lawsuits from women accusing him of sexual assault.
While he remains incarcerated after being refused bail, the hip hop mogul appears on Kanye West’s latest single LONELY ROADS STILL GO TO SUNSHINE, alongside his son Christian ‘King’ Combs and Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s daughter North, 11.
The track kicks off with audio appearing to be from a phone call between Diddy and Kanye, where the jailed star is heard thanking Kanye for reaching out to his kids ‘when nobody else has.’ Later in the song, North raps “When you see me shining, then you see the light” and other lines.
Kim Kardashian’s furious response to North’s appearance has now been revealed in leaked texts that Kanye shared and then deleted overnight. The messages see the couple locked in battle as Kanye tells his ex he will start a war ‘they will never recover from’ if she does not cooperate with his demands.

In the messages, Kanye tells Kim: ‘I’m never speaking with you again,’ along with an image of what appears to be a legal document that includes the phrase: ‘participation in this project,’ seemingly referencing the Diddy song.
Kim argues that only she has the rights to use North West’s name: “I asked u at the time if I can trademark her name. You said “yes”‘, adding: “When she’s 18 it goes to her.”
She then tells Kanye,”Stop” and “I sent paper work over so she wouldn’t be in the Diddy song To protect her.”
Kim goes on: “One person has to trademark! We agreed when they were born i would get all of our kids names and trademarks So no would else would take them.”
Kanye then shoots her down saying, “Amend it or I’m going to war And neither of us will recover from the public fallout.” He then tells her: “You’re going to have to kill me.”

According to insiders, North recently spent time in the studio with Kanye where she recorded her vocals for the track. After learning about the track, sources claim Kardashian sent cease-and-desist letters to Kanye trying to block the release. The mum is said to have called ‘everyone she could’ to try and stop it, with Kanye sharing the track on his social media on Saturday night.
As part of their divorce settlement, Kim and Kanye share joint legal and physical custody of their four children, with Kim being the primary caregiver. Kanye was called to pay $200,000 per month in child support.
It comes as this week it was revealed that Kanye could make children as young as five shave their heads for his Sunday Service choir.
The 47-year-old rapper is opening auditions for the return of his gospel choir – which he first launched in 2019 – and he’s looking for male singers ages five and up, but those selected must have a certain look.
He wrote on Instagram this week: “Sunday service the next frontier is recruiting male choir members. Those selected are required to shave their heads. Shaved heads are not required to audition. The audition location is in Los Angeles and will be given upon RSVP. Open auditions will be held on Thursday, March 13, at 4 PM. Auditions are open to ages five and up.”

The gospel choir was originally known as a 501(c)(3) organisation, which is classified as “religious, educational, charitable, scientific, literary, testing for public safety, fostering national or international amateur sports competition, or prevention of cruelty to children or animals organisations”.
However, the IRS website notes that the group was stripped of its tax exemption status in May last year “for not filing a Form 990-series return or notice for three consecutive years”.
When Kanye – who has come under heavy criticism this year for his misogynistic and antisemitic rants on social media – first kicked off the Sunday Service, the gospel choir performed with the Grammy winner every weekend.
Their first public performance came at the Coachella festival in 2019, and they have collaborated with Pastor Joel Osteen who hosted Kanye at the Lakewood Church, Houston, in November that year.
Kanye faced legal issues with some of his Sunday Service members and staff – who filed class action lawsuits against the rapper in 2020 for alleged mistreatment.
At the time, more than 500 performers and around 300 crew members claimed the performer-turned fashion designer had violated California work laws by underpaying them and denying them food and restroom breaks.
Among them was Sunday Service performer Michael Pearson who alleged he was paid a flat day rate of $250 and was not permitted breaks.
He also claimed performers stood all day or sat on the floor and walked home when transport was not provided. It was reported in June Kanye settled with the hundreds of Sunday Service performers and staff for $1.35 million, but they were seeking more than $10.5 million in damages.
