Khloé Kardashian is getting candid about a serious breach of personal privacy she claims to have faced.

During an interview with Alex Cooper on the Wednesday, April 16 episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kardashian claimed that her past therapist leaked details about her health records to the press.

“It was couples therapy with my ex-husband,” she shared, referencing her ex-husband Lamar Odom. “But when it happened, it was the height of tabloids. And when it was on the cover, I was like, I just knew instantly, but I was going through so much personally and emotionally. I just said, ‘I’m done with this.’ “

As for why she never pressed charges, Kardashian said, “That’s also just not my thing. Like, I know who you are and what you did, and I don’t know what that’s gonna do for me. But what was done was done. That happened.”

That’s not the only violation of her privacy Kardashian claimed came from a medical professional.

“I also saw a doctor when I was with Lamar when I was trying to get pregnant. I was doing IVF and that doctor or a nurse, I can’t say which one because I don’t know, they released my IVF records to the press and that’s a violation of HIPAA law as well,” she said.

Odom and Khloé married in 2009, one month after meeting each other. Khloé filed for divorce in 2013 amid multiple cheating allegations but called it off in 2015. She ultimately filed one final time in 2016.

As a result of these experiences, the Revenge Body star said she took a break from therapy for a decade. Instead, she turned to fitness as a way to work through her personal struggles.

“I stopped going to therapy and started going to the gym,” Kardashian told Bustle in December 2024. “I needed a release, but I did not trust anybody else anymore. And the place that I felt the safest was the gym.”

These days, the star goes to the same therapist as her older sister Kim Kardashian.

“I think it’s great,” she said of sharing the therapist on Call Her Daddy. “But also Kim and I work really well together in life. We really do. And Kim introduced me to her. Kim was like, ‘I’m seeing her. I think she’d be really beneficial to you.’ And she is. And she’s just and I think it’s sort of good because she gets our dynamic even from a deeper level by knowing Kim.”
