With her model good looks and nepo baby status, it’s no surprise Kaia Gerber has some serious connections in Hollywood.

At just 22, the daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber is already has a decade of modelling experience under her belt.

But surprisingly, the  Vogue cover girl also has some links Memphis.

The brunette beauty dated Jacob Elordi, who is currently playing Elvis in Priscilla.

Her current beau is Austin Butler, who got an Oscar nomination for playing the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

 Closer to home, her brother is named after the Jailhouse Rocker.

Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis, which got eight Oscar nominations, starred Kaia’s current beau as the King of Rock n Roll.

Less than 18 months later, Sofia Coppola released Priscilla, a biopic about Elvis’s wife.

In 2020, three years before Jacob was cast as Elvis, Kaia and Jacob launched their relationship by dressing up as the famous couple for Halloween.

Complete with Priscilla’s beehive and Elvis’ sunglasses and slick suits, the couple were almost indistinguishable from the King and Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll.

 The model wore Jackie O-style shades, a lavender top, and purple leggings by designer Charlotte Knowles for her Priscilla costume.

Make-up artist Sam Visser applied Kaia’s nude pout, smoky eye, and he brought out her busy brows to better emulate The Naked Gun actress.

Hairstylist Charlie Le Mindu used his ‘famous drag technique to backcomb’ the handmade lace-front beehive wig Gerber wore for the night, according to Vogue.

Le Mindu created ‘amazing sideburns’ and added volume to the Australian’s  own hair to better resemble the Mississippi-born, Tennessee-raised singer who’s sold over 1B records.

Kaia joined her boyfriend Austin at Lisa Marie Presley‘s memorial service together at Graceland last year.

Austin had a close relationship with the daughter of the King of Rock ‘N’ Roll after portraying her father Elvis Presley in the acclaimed Baz Luhrmann biopic Elvis.

Lisa Marie suffered cardiac arrest at her Calabasas home, and died at a hospital in Los Angeles on January 12. She was 54.

On her Instagram account she shared, ‘Austin Butler channeled and embodied my father’s heart and soul beautifully. In my humble opinion his performance is unprecedented and FINALLY done accurately and respectfully.’

Lisa Marie and her mother Priscilla Presley accompanied Austin on much of the publicity tour for Elvis and the trio grew close during filming of the biopic.

He brought both women to tears as he spoke directly to them in his Golden Globe acceptance speech for Best Actor, saying, ‘Thank you guys, thank you for opening your hearts, your memories, your home to me. Lisa Marie, Priscilla, I love you forever.’

Both Kaia’s parents have some very starry connections – so much so her brother is named Presley after the king.

Speaking to the New York Times, Rande and Cindy said that the name Presley came from a dinner with Hollywood music producer David Foster.

At the time, he was married to Elvis’ ex-girlfriend, Linda Thompson.

‘During the dinner, David joked with the couple: ‘Can you imagine being me, having to follow Presley?,’. And the name stick.

Kaia’s name also has showbiz routes. Cindy says she’s named after  a character in the 1988 fantasy film ‘Willow, while Rande says it’s from the title track of a 1978 Bob Marley album (and slang for marijuana).

Robert Kardashian ‘thought he was going to marry Priscilla’

Robert Kardashian was said to be in love with his 70s-era girlfriend Priscilla Presley that he wanted to marry her.

That’s because she made Robert ‘very happy,’ author Jerry Oppenheimer told Page Six in November.

‘He wanted to marry her and have children with her. That was definitely his hope, his plan,’ Oppenheimer revealed after naming his source as Joni Migdal, a close friend of both Robert and Priscilla.

Jerry has talked about Robert and Priscilla’s relationship before in the 2017 book The Kardashians: An American Drama. But now he is sharing even more details.

Priscilla claimed this week that Elvis did not want her to marry again after they divorced in 1973.

Robert and Priscilla broke up and he wet on to marry Kris Jenner in 1978. Together they had four children: Kim, Kourtney, Khloé and Rob.

Ultimately, Robert and Priscilla’s relationship soured, with Migdal claiming Priscilla told Robert, ‘Look, I’m not going to marry anyone until Elvis dies.’

Elvis died in 1977.

Pete famously found love with Kim Kardashian.

And before the Kardashain Klan became the reality TV A-listers, Kim’s father Robert dated none other than Priscilla Presley herself.

Both newly single in the mid 1970s, Robert ‘thought he would marry’ Priscilla – but she told him she wouldn’t wed again while Elvis was still alive.

So, along  came Kris Houghton (now Kris Jenner).  The couple welcome four kids, Kourtnery, Kimberley, Khloe and Rob befor they split.

Kris later married Olympic hero Caitlyn Jenner – and the pair had Kylie and Kendall together.

Kaia is close friend’s with Kendall and often models with her. Kendall says Cindy Crawford is ‘her idol’.

Before Kris, Caitlyn was married to Linda Thompson, the pair have two children together Brandon and Brody Jenner.

Linda was Elvis’s last girlfriend before his death aged 42.

Linda is also a good friend of Cindy and Rande, and later married David Foster.

David Foster, a Hollywood music producer, went on to work with Lisa Marie.

MANY MARRIAGES OF LISA MARIE

And it’s not only the many marriages of the Jenner-Kardashian family that link Kaia to Elvis.

Elvis’s daughter Lisa-Marie was married four times.

During her first marriage to Danny Keough she welcomed daughter Riley.

Riley, now 34, recently starred in Daisy Jones & The Six – an Amazon series about a 1970s rockstar.

Also in the series was Camila Morrone and Suki Waterhouse, both friends of Kaia.

Camilla also dated Leonardo DiCaprio for five years, DiCaprio is known for his work with Baz Luhrmann  – who also made the Elvis biopic starring Austin Butler.

After Lisa Marie split with Danny, she went on to marry Michael Jackson.  Kaia recently starred in American Horror Story with Michael’s daughter Paris.

Her third marriage was to Nicolas Cage.   Before she was married to Rande, Cindy was previously married to Richard Gere.

Nic Cage credits Richard Gere from saving him from a ‘life in jail’. He said his life turned around when they worked together in the 1984 movie The Cotton Club.

He previously told the Sun: ‘I could have ended up in jail… Richard Gere… said to me, ‘If you keep on behaving as you are, you will only have about three film roles left in you.’

Incidentally, Nic’s cousin is Sofia Coppola, who directed the film Priscilla.
