Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs’ mother Janice Combs turned heads as she stepped out in a ‘defiant-looking outfit’ when she appeared at her son’s court hearing in New York this week
Sean “P Diddy” Combs’ mother Janice Combs seemed to be determined to “attract maximum attention” as she stepped out in a “defiant-looking outfit” during her son’s court hearing on Thursday.
As the disgraced music mogul arrived in court for a status hearing after he was arrested on sex trafficking charges, his family joined him at the courthouse. While P Diddy’s other family members went for a more muted looks, his mom turned heads as she stepped out in an animal-print fur jacket over a white bodycon dress and accessorized with a pair of bold square shades.
After analyzing photos of Diddy’s family, body language expert Judi James has weighed in with her professional opinion on their differing postures. In an exclusive interview with The Mirror, Judi explained: “The courtroom arrivals show up some very contrasting body language displays from Diddy’s family, ranging from what looks like bravado to grim determination in these photos.”
Speaking on Janice’s head-turning entrance, Judi explained: “His mother looks determined to attract maximum attention with a defiant-looking outfit and huge square shades. Her forward-leaning posture hints at some frailty but she looks determined to style it out here.”

Diddy’s twin daughters Jessie James and D’Lila Star also showed up at the hearing and were seen hand-in-hand as they entered the courtroom together. Diddy welcomed his two daughters with his late ex-girlfriend, Kim Porter, who passed away in 2018.
Speaking on his kids’ appearance, Judi noted: “The daughters are more casually dressed in jeans and matching shades that hide their eye expressions,” and added: “Walking hand in hand the message seems to be one of unity. Their chins are raised here to suggest that bravado or defiance and their smiles look almost joyful.”

Diddy’s two sons Justin and King Combs, who were present during the raids on Diddy’s home back in March, also showed up to the New York court in support of their father. Speaking on their arrival, Judi said: “The two sons present a more formal, serious look with one wearing a tie and cardigan, walking ahead looking serious and businesslike.”
“The other son walks behind with his chin lowered but his eyes raised, giving him a look of grim determination as he strides forward hand in hand with his partner.”
