A recently resurfaced clip from the Golden Globes presented them between Bono of U2 fame and disgraced hip hop mogul Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs.

On stage, a past encounter reveals Diddy, who is presently incarcerated as he awaits trial for a series of allegations, awkwardly hugging Bono. The recent viewers of the footage are now speculating that Sean attempted to kiss Bono on the cheek during their embrace a gesture that Bono noticeably avoided.

Diddy’s arrest stems from accusations including sex trafficking. Presenting the Best Original Song Award at the 2014 Golden Globes, which went to U2, Sean found himself in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons.

A source disclosed to RadarOnline, “Loads of fans are saying the obvious discomfort with Bono’s body language all those years ago is a sign he knew there was something not right with Diddy – to say the least.”

The insider insisted Bono was unaware of the specific claims against Sean at that time, stating: “There’s no way he knew about the depths of his depravity or he would have spoken up, but there was no way Bono was letting him anywhere near him, even 10 years ago.”

The social media platform X was buzzing with reactions to the report, as users couldn’t hold back their thoughts on the clip. One person quipped: “Diddy looking around to see if anyone saw him getting rejected by Bono.”

Another remarked: “I’m no U2 fan but that cringey awkward hug between Bono and Diddy at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards was hilarious.”

Elsewhere, a user speculated: “Diddy wasn’t liked by Bono. What did Bono know? ”

Another netizen added to the conversation, musing: “Bono didn’t like Diddy, wonder why, that was painfully awkward to watch but did he know something at this time, oh, and did Diddy just try [to] kiss Bono on the lips? ” Last month, Sean found himself in hot water, detained on allegations of sex trafficking and racketeering and is currently being held without bail.

Judge Andrew Carter has twice refused to grant the rapper bail, despite the offer of securing it against both his own and his mother’s plush Miami abode, estimated to be valued at $50 million. Diddy has maintained his innocence, entering a plea of not guilty to all counts.

The accusations span back to 2008, outlining years of alleged abuse, intimidation, and manipulation by the artist to gratify his sexual needs, safeguard his image, and hide his actions.
