Justin Bieber reportedly had a ‘nightmare’ experience with disgraced music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, which is coming out in the aftermath of the hip-hop mogul’s numerous allegations and arrest
Justin Bieber reportedly experienced a “nightmare” and a “private hell” with Sean “Diddy” Combs.
The singer reportedly “broke his silence” to friends about what he dealt with at the hands of the disgraced music mogul in the aftermath of Diddy’s arrest and numerous allegations. Diddy was arrested and indicted with charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution on September 16. The 14-page indictment accused Diddy of having a “criminal enterprise” that sexually, as well as physically, abused and threatened women and others.
He is being held in federal custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center while he awaits trial after being denied bail twice. Diddy pled not guilty to the charges and also denied any accusations against him. While Justin has not publicly yet spoken about Diddy, a source spoke to In Touch Weekly about how the Holy singer is seemingly reacting to the news and his own personal circumstance with the 54-year-old.
“The last thing Justin wants to do is relive or even discuss his complicated friendship with Diddy,” the source said. “But he’s finally breaking his silence to his friends about his nightmare experience and the private hell it’s caused him.”
Diddy has known Justin since he started out in the industry as a teenager. Usher, who was one of Diddy’s mentees, had mentored the Canadian native. Justin has also collaborated with Diddy, with their most recent partnership being on the rapper’s fifth studio album, The Love Album: Off the Grid, with the song Moments. Many videos of past moments of the two throughout the years have resurfaced since Diddy’s scandal. Several of the clips have been circulated caused worry to some fans.
One of the videos was an old 2009 Youtube vlog called JUSTIN BIEBER’s 48 HRS with DIDDY!!, when a then 15-year-old Justin was hanging with a then 40-year-old Diddy. The Bad Boys CEO had said: “Where we’re hanging out and what we’re doing, we can’t really disclose, but it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream.”
“For the next 48 hours, he’s with me. And we’re gonna go full. Buck full crazy.”
These resurfaced videos and their connection to each other has Beliebers “looking at his associations with other stars in a whole new light,” according to the In Touch source. Justin has been candid about his past struggles throughout his career, such as battling drug addiction, suicidal thoughts and depression, specifically in a 2020 documentary titled Justin Bieber: Next Chapter.
In a tearful interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in 2020, the 30-year-old artist reflected on his past saying, “It was hard for me, being that young and being in the industry and not knowing where to turn and and everyone telling me they loved me, and turn their back on you in a second.”

He went on to say his own personal challenges with the industry made him want “to protect” Billie Eilish, who also started a music career at 13-years-old like he did.
“If she ever needs me, I’m going to be here for her. I don’t want her to go through anything I went through. I don’t wish that upon anybody,” Justin added.
The insider said that Justin has told many young stars to contact him “if they find themselves in a tough situation” and that “he’s tried to be up-front about his demons and how he’s relied on therapy and his faith to get back on track.”
“Still, it’s been hard to have all of this stuff being dredged up,” he said.
The source concluded that although Justin is concentrating on his “massively supportive” wife Hailey and their newborn son Jack Blue, “if speaking about his past trauma can help others, he probably will. He wants to break the cycle, once and for all.”
