Mike from The Art of Guitar has recently posted an interesting video in which he “decoded” what he branded the “most confusing solo section” in a Metallica song. The track in question is “Fight Fire With Fire” from the band’s second album, 1984’s “Ride the Lightning.”
The musician commented (transcribed by UG):
“I think I finally figured out the solo section of Metallica’s “Fight Fire With Fire” – not the solo actually, the rhythm played behind it, which seems to be very, very confusing for everybody, including myself.”
