Satch/Vai Tour 2024 Continues
The two guitarists have a busy few months ahead of them, with U.S. dates scheduled up until early May. They’ll also release a collaborative song, “Sea of Emotion, Pt. 1,” on March 29.
“Every time we play together it takes me back to when we were teenagers, eating and breathing music every second of the day, pushing, challenging and helping each other to be the best we could be,” Satriani said in a previous press release. “I guess we’ve never stopped!”
“He is my favorite guitarist to jam with, and now we have another opportunity to take it to the stage,” Vai added. “I feel as though we are both at the top of our game and that the show will be a powerful celebration of the coolest instrument in the world, the electric guitar!”

One of the greatest bands in rock history will set out on tour once more in 2024. The Rolling Stones’ North American dates begin April 28 in Houston and run through July 17 in Santa Clara, California. The legendary group released their newest album, Hackney Diamonds, in 2023, so they’ll have plenty of new material to mix in with their endless array of classic hits.

The Eagles’ Long Goodbye farewell tour will continue in 2024. The band has already announced four concerts at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Jan. 5, 6, 12 and 13. The shows will mark the 10 year anniversary of the Forum’s modern renovation. The Eagles memorably opened the updated venue with a run of performances in January 2014. From there, the band will head out of a string of shows beginning Jan. 19 in Phoenix, with stops in Austin, Houston and Chicago also on the schedule. Steely Dan will join the Eagles for the trek, and you can expect further Long Goodbye dates to be announced throughout 2024. A press release stated the Eagles “will perform as many shows in each market as their audience demands,” and “the tour is expected to continue into 2025.”

What was initially one of the most highly anticipated tours of 2023 quickly became one of the most highly anticipated tours of 2024. Just three shows into Aerosmith’s Peace Out farewell tour, singer Steven Tyler injured his vocal chords. The band initially postponed a handful of dates but eventually opted to push the entire trek into the New Year. A start date for the rescheduled tour has yet to be announced, but Aerosmith has promised that all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new performances.

The Irish rockers added another slew of dates to their residency in early 2024, beginning Jan. 26 and running through March 2..

Iron Maiden
After only playing a handful of dates in the U.S. in 2023, including an electrifying set at the Power Trip festival, Iron Maiden will embark on an extended North American run in the fall of 2024. The Future Past Tour, with a setlist focussed on 1986’s Somewhere in Time and 2021’s Senjutsu, begins on Oct. 4 in San Diego and concludes on Nov. 17 in San Antonio. “We know from the reaction of our fans at Power Trip and the shows we played in Canada recently that they really enjoyed hearing new songs from both Senjutsu and Somewhere in Time, and we’ve really enjoyed playing them!” bassist Steve Harris said via statement. “So it’s going to be a great experience for us to visit many other cities across North America and bring this new show to those fans who’ve waited patiently to see it. See you all in 2024!”
