She paired the laid-back look with a smoldering glam

Jennifer Lopez leaned fully into the boho aesthetic last night.

The actor looked radiant in a chiffon-ruffled dress from Chloé as she stepped out for a special screening of her latest film, Unstoppable. At the Los Angeles event, Lopez stood out from the crowd in a sheer nude gown with gauzy bell sleeves and a layered skirt. Underneath the airy garment, she wore a taupe bandeau, though a midriff cutout flaunted her toned abs.

Frills cascaded down her flowy dress, notably ruffling at the waist and sleeves to create a fluid silhouette. Lopez paired the translucent ensemble with a gray suede iteration of Chloé’s Bracelet Hobo Bag, toting around the $3,290 purse by its top handles. She complemented the look with a pair of triangular gold hoops, as well as a pair of slouchy, knee-high brown boots.

J.Lo brought her signature glam to the free-spirited look, wearing her caramel-highlighted hair in a tousled half-up, half-down ‘do with romantic curtain bangs. A smoked-out purple eyeshadow and lengthy lashes accentuated her brown eyes, while a terracotta blush and matching glossy lip added a pop of color to her ensemble.

The Atlas actor previously wore a head-to-toe Chloé outfit in September, when she attended the Toronto International Film Festival. Her look then was nearly identical—sans a midriff cutout—with delicate ruffles of nude chiffon and baggy boots. This year especially, the star has embraced the laid-back aesthetic with breezy dresses, patchwork denim, and fluffy micro shorts.

Lopez seems to be letting loose following her divorce from Ben Affleck, which she addressed in a candid chat with comedian Nikki Glaser for Interview magazine. “Being in a relationship doesn’t define me. I can’t be looking for happiness in other people,” Lopez said. “I have to have happiness within myself… What if I’m just free?”
