Caitlin Clark is one of the most talented young athletes in the US and her skills have made her a multi-millionaire.

Caitlin Clark is currently one of the most buzzed-about athletes in the WNBA, with her whopping net worth reflecting her highly sought-after skills.

The 22-year-old was a college sensation and has wowed audiences nationwide with her prowess on the court. Clark is still carving out her path to fame, having been the number one overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft.

Clark made a name for herself in college basketball as a guard for the University of Iowa, becoming the highest-ever scorer in NCAA Division 1 basketball for both men and women with 3,951 points.

This performance broke a 54-year-old record previously held by Louisiana State University’s Pete Maravich.

Before joining the ranks of the WNBA, Clark left a remarkable legacy at the University of Iowa, setting numerous records and significantly increasing the popularity of women’s basketball. Her signature deep 3-pointer shot – often referred to as a ‘logo-3’ – is a challenging feat for both male and female players, and had every team in the country competing for her to join their ranks. After making her mark in Iowa, Clark was the top pick in the 2024 WNBA draft – chosen by the Indiana Fever. Following her selection, Clark signed an impressive $338k contract in Indiana.

Parade reports that the young sportswoman will have earned over $75k in her first year, and a whopping $92k by her final contract year in 2027. So far, then, Clark has amassed a substantial net worth, estimated at around $3.8m.

The young woman has plenty of opportunities to increase her earnings – through sponsorship deals, marketing agreements with the WNBA themselves, and brand endorsements.

During her university years, the athlete partnered with big names like Gatorade, Bose and State Farm in endorsement deals – and her professional career has continued this trend. Clark has already teamed up with Nike and Wilson Sporting Goods Co. – two brands that are sure to bring even more money her way in the coming years.

Clark could also increase her income through the WNBA itself, as they’re known to offer Player Marketing Agreements (PMAs) to standout players. Essentially, this agreement would position Clark as a brand ambassador for the WNBA and its partners – potentially adding an extra £191,227 ($250K) to her bank balance.

It comes as, in a shocking career move, Clark is trading in her sneakers for golf clubs this winter. Clark has decided to take a break from the court to participate in an LPGA Tour event next month.

Clark will be joining a host of talented golfers at the Annika pro-am event, hosted by legendary golfer Annika Sorenstam, in November. The Florida event will also feature a Women’s Leadership Summit.
