An interaction between Sean “P Diddy” Combs and Ellen DeGeneres has resurfaced.
Diddy was a special guest on The Ellen DeGeneres show and was asked by the comedian: “What time do you stay up ’til?” Diddy answered the question with no hesitation saying that he would stay up until 6am and wake up at around 10.30-11am. Ellen questioned Diddy on what he would do to stay up until that time. She couldn’t imagine him staying up until 6am just to party.
Ellen admitted to it being her “favorite answer ever.” Diddy was wearing a leather jacket over a button up shirt with black and white stripes. He paired the look with a thin black tie and sunglasses.
The resurfaced interview comes after the Bad Boy Records CEO was arrested in New York City in September and charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has denied all allegations, pleaded not guilty. Diddy is currently awaiting trial on May 5, 2025 and is being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center located in Brooklyn, New York.
This is not the first time something Diddy and Ellen DeGeneres related has resurfaced. The comedian and former Ellen DeGeneres Show host wished Diddy a happy birthday on X on November 4, 2016. She referred to him as “Cuddle McSnugglestuff.” The post read: “Happy birthday, P Diddy, Puff Daddy, Sean Combs, or as I call him, Cuddle McSnugglestuff. You don’t need to know why. @iamdiddy.” Diddy would appear on the Ellen DeGeneres Show throughout the years when it aired from 2003–2022.
Another resurfaced video from 2018 showed the hip hop mogul sitting across from Ellen on her talk show. She poked fun at Diddy for being late to her show. She asked if he would do something like that at an upcoming party she was throwing around that time. What got the attention from people was when she added: “But not too late. ‘Cause, you know, once you get there the party really starts.”
Diddy was known to throw parties and some would call them “freak offs.” Old pictures and videos have surfaced of celebrities who attended Diddy’s parties since his arrest.
He responded: “I mean, I make love a lot… I told you when I came on the show I was going to be completely honest and expose myself to the world.”
