Pop sensation Selena Gomez coped early with her inability to have children. The star opened up about her plans for a future family, even if non-traditional in nature
Selena Gomez revealed that she can’t carry her own children.
She told Vanity Fair: “I haven’t ever said this but I unfortunately can’t carry my own children. I have a lot of medical issues that would put my life and the baby’s in jeopardy. That was something I had to grieve for a while.”
The pop star explained that starting a family is important to her and a part of her long-term vision, but Selena just won’t be able to take the traditional path to get there. Instead, the star said she has weighed her options between adoption and surrogacy, though, she doesn’t know exactly what she’ll do when the time is right.
