The actress and singer, 55, wowed on the star-studded red carpet
Jennifer Lopez is shining!
On Sunday, Nov. 17, the actress and singer, 55, stole the spotlight in a glamorous, partially sheer gown at the 15th Governors Awards.
The event, which took place at Los Angeles’ Dolby Theatre, also drew A-listers like Angelina Jolie, Daniel Craig, Jennifer Lawrence and Pamela Anderson. During the ceremony, Quincy Jones and Juliet Taylor received Honorary Awards, while Richard Curtis was presented with the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award and producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli were awarded the Irving G. Thalberg Memorial Award.
A red carpet veteran, Lopez certainly looked the part of a movie star in a Zuhair Murad FW24 Couture ensemble that featured a sheer, intricately beaded portion down the middle flanked by a black cape-like detail. She paired the elegant look with a Tyler Ellis clutch.

Lopez’s long, honey blonde hair was styled into a bouncy blowout, amping up her star power. She kept her makeup classic and glamorous with winged liner, fluttery lashes and a nude lip.

Lopez has been on quite the fashion kick lately. At the 1001 Seasons of Elie Saab event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Nov. 13, she made her return to the stage in a superbly sparkly ensemble.

Her look consisted of an eye-catching sequin fringe cape that was replaced with a furry coat midway through the sequence. Underneath, she wore a shimmery plunging, high-cut bodysuit. At one point she even put on a sheer black feathery cape and matching hat, which she dramatically removed. Perhaps the most impressive element was her silver fold-over heeled boots, which didn’t stop her from nailing her choreography.

For the Los Angeles premiere of Wicked, Lopez dressed in a sparkling halter gown with gemstone embellishments and side cutouts from the Zuhair Murad Couture Spring 2024 collection. She attended the event with her 16-year-old, Max.

Lopez also recently kicked off her winter style a bit early in a cozy-chic white knit dress at a Nov. 5 screening of her new film Unstoppable at London’s Cineworld Leicester Square. In the biopic, which follows the real-life story of wrestler Anthony Robles, Lopez plays Robles’ mother, Judy.
The actress opted for a figure-hugging white halter dress featuring semi-sheer fabric and a chunky turtleneck. Over top, she wore a matching winter coat. Her accessories included white pointed-toe pumps and a clutch.
