It’s an exciting time for Reba McEntire fans!

On Friday, October 18, the country icon’s much-anticipated sitcom, Happy’s Place, premiered on NBC. As if getting to watch Reba and Melissa Peterman reprise their beloved ‘90s sitcom friendship in a whole new way isn’t enough to make fans swoon, now, news of a freshly recorded theme song has emerged.

While Reba has stellar writing chops of her own, for this new jingle, the 69-year-old star teamed up with none other than songwriting icon Carole King. As many know, Carole is behind many memorable songs, including “Where You Lead,” the widely adored theme song of Gilmore Girls.

“I’m so happy for the opportunity to write the theme song for Happy’s Place with my good friend, Carole King,” Reba said in a statement. “It just doesn’t get much better than that! I hope my fans will love this song as much as they did the theme song for the Reba show.”

Seeing my two favorite girls, Melissa and Reba, on the same set again and discovering new artists is SO exciting. The theme song is awesome and I cannot wait to watch the premiere of Happy’s Place,” another fan chimed in. “Great video and really like this song can’t wait until Friday,” someone else remarked.
