The singer and actress hit billionaire status in September, according to Bloomberg. She is worth a staggering $1.3 billion and most of it comes from her beauty brand. She launched her own makeup brand, Rare Beauty, in 2020, which instantly went viral over the brands products, affordability, inclusivity and more.

Selena attended the 2024 New York Film Festival for the Emilia Pérez premiere at Lincoln Center’s Alice Tully Hall in Manhattan on Monday, September 30. She wore a black haltered long black dress with her hair styled in a slick bun.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Selena was asked about her “billionaire status.” She expressed how she was “grateful” but finds it “distasteful to talk about money.” Selena did give credit to those who buy the Rare Beauty products and are the ones who her “dream” come true.
Fans quickly praise Selena for her “humble” response. One person in the comments wrote: “Talk about humbled. I love seeing it from billionaires. Benny Blanco was no where in sight at the event. This comes after Selena was seen dancing close to her co-star Edgar Ramirez at Sabrina Carpenter’s Madison Square Garden show on Sunday, September 29. They were surrounded by friends. Connar Franklin Carpenter posted a video on TikTok of Selena dancing on Edgar, which has since been deleted by the user.

Selena then posted a video of herself dancing to Juno and tagged Benny in the caption. She was letting lose while showing off her time at the concert. Benny commented under the video: “can’t keep my hands to myself.” The two have been dating for over a year now after they confirmed their relationship in December 2023. Selena and Benny have been rumored to be engaged after she hid her ring finger with an emoji.
