“I feel like I have all this adrenaline, and I’m just standing here,” the reality star said after watching the historic expedition

Khloé Kardashian admitted that she found the idea of rocketing off to space on a Blue Origin expedition to be “enticing”
She reflected on the possibility of becoming the first Kardashian in space while witnessing a historic all-female expedition take place on April 14 in West Texas
“It takes your breath away. I feel like I have all this adrenaline, and I’m just standing here,” Kardashian said about witnessing the rocket take off and safely return to Earth

Khloé Kardashian is tempted to travel to space on an upcoming Blue Origin expedition.

The 40-year-old reality star and her mom Kris Jenner were present in West Texas on Monday, April 14, to witness an all-female group — including Katy Perry, journalist Gayle King and philanthropist Lauren Sánchez — take flight on a historic journey to space.

In a live stream from the event, Kardashian was asked if she would be interested in hopping aboard a rocket for a trip of her own. She admitted to being intrigued by the idea, saying, “Oh my gosh, I don’t know. But this made it a little more enticing.”

Jenner, 69, was much less enthused about the idea of getting aboard a rocket.

“You can go on behalf of the rest of us,” she told her daughter, adding, “But I think we’d all drag you off of the tarmac before we let you go up.”

Kardashian added that she was surprised by how emotional she felt after watching the event.

“I literally had chills all over my body from the second it launched until the moment I just saw it land,” she said. “And it’s sort of hard to explain because I don’t think you think you would be that emotional. But it’s incredible. It takes your breath away. I feel like I have all this adrenaline, and I’m just standing here.

Her mom, who is one of Sánchez’s close friends, added that everyone was “so thrilled that all the girls are safe.”

The mom and daughter weren’t the only famous faces in attendance for the event. Other attendees included Perry’s fiancé Orlando Bloom and King’s best friend Oprah Winfrey.

Perry’s 4-year-old daughter Daisy also made a very rare appearance and was dressed in an astronaut costume in tribute to her space-traveling mom.

“This experience is second to being a mom,” the singer said about the journey into space. “That’s why it was hard for me to go because that’s all my love right there, and I have to surrender and trust that the universe is going to take care of me and protect me and also my family and daughter. I am full up from being able to get that gift of being a mom, and to go to space is incredible, and I wanted to model courage, worthiness and fearlessness.”
