Kim Kardashian is putting her legal knowledge to work, even with her kids. On Tuesday, the reality star and entrepreneur, 43, shared with her 361 million Instagram followers that she officially allowed her 8-year-old son, Saint West, to launch his own YouTube channel—but not without first signing a legally binding contract with her.

“I finally allowed Saint to have a YouTube Channel after signing an extensive contract! lol,” Kardashian wrote in her Instagram story, according to People. She included a screenshot of Saint’s profile and encouraged fans to subscribe.

The Skims founder also gave her followers a glimpse of the handwritten contract in a separate post, adding, “Saint signed a solid contract for this YouTube Channel. He better not breach 😉.”

Titled “Contract between Saint West and Kim Kardashian,” the agreement outlines specific rules Saint must follow to maintain his channel. The contract states: “I, Saint West, agree to follow my mom’s rules in order to have a YouTube channel.” Among the stipulations, Saint is not allowed to share any personal family information, nor can he film while his sister North West is recording music.

The document, dated September 3, further emphasizes that Saint must show all videos to his mom or a guardian before posting them and grants permission for any adult, if authorized by Kardashian, to delete his videos. Should he fail to comply with the rules, his YouTube page could be made private or even deleted.

Saint’s signature proudly sits at the bottom of the contract.

Addressing speculation, Kardashian took to X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday to confirm the contract was no joke. “JOKE CONTRACT? Oh this wasn’t a joke,” she wrote, resharing People‘s article. “We will go to arbitration if needed.”

Fans were quick to applaud Kardashian’s parenting approach, praising her for instilling responsibility in her young son while letting him explore his creative side.
