Why do people expect so much from celebrities? It’s weird. They’re just actors. They’re not meant to be profound humans. In many MANY cases they’re actually quite flawed. Lower your expectations & just watch film & TV for it’s intended purpose- entertainment.

Who cares. Nobody is on point and at their best 100% of the time. If people never made a misstep I’d wonder what they were trying so hard to hide or conceal. She showed she’s human, happens to the best of us

She definitely showed her true colours with that girl in the interview bullying isn’t nice to watchOh it’s so ridiculous people reaction to all of it. Blake lively is an awesome actress and promoted the movie as a model mum wife artist. Yes it’s a great movie to take your girlfriends to. It’s probably been really tough for her to remain strong and silent not speaking about interpersonal partner violence and not being that spokeswoman because she’s not in an abusive relationship in real life however she supports women through acting. A strong beautiful woman.

All she wanted was to make the woman the focal point, it was not about downplaying the DV, it was about saying that the woman’s character n her life ect was much MORE than the worst parts of it (dv) it was about the woman before dv, the change during dv, n the courage n strength to be the woman after it.
Was her execution in selling her artistic take on it good, maybe not..but you all formed an opinion n didn’t even try to hear what she was trying to say..
He wanted the DV to be the focal thus making his male role more prominent…both wanting exactly the same thing for their character to be the lead..lol his take would be more of “exploring the mind of a serial killer” instead it’s “seeing how a DV abuser turns out that way, focusing on his issues that lead him to be an aggressor.
And she didn’t want that.

And as for the upset interviewer. She did NOT want to talk about her pregnancy. Most of everything they talk to her about is being a mother n Ryan’s wife, n being pretty.. she is rarely asked about her as a professional working woman..
N getting the same questions that male interviewers have been giving was a tad disappointing when not just her but many female celeb have been complaining about..and the reporter deliberately went that way instead.
If you went to promote a project or interview and asked nothing of your skills, experience ect..n cared only about whether you’ll be wearing a skirt or a pant suit like that is all you got to offer, I’m sure you may consider reacting the same..
But she’s rich n u don’t think she is good actress so you dismiss all that?
Before it was announced she was a swift, all of a sudden she is being attacked like they are attacking swift..n I’m not even a Biden supporter n can see how wrong that is.
