On September 4, Beyoncé turned 43, and she celebrated in style. The super star shared some photos on Friday from her tropical vacation with husband Jay-Z, showing off her stunning birthday ensemble. The Renaissance singer was wearing a matching skirt and top by Emilio Pucci in a semi-sheer fabric printed with a vibrant pattern of greens and browns.

The look’s miniskirt was hemmed with a slight ruffle and the top clung to her incredible figure. For accessories, Beyoncé wore bright green stiletto heels, Gucci sunglasses, and a silk scarf around her hair. On her arms were a pair of sheer feathered opera gloves in lime green and she carried a matching tote by Loewe.

“I’m so grateful for another year,” Beyoncé wrote in the caption. “Thank you for the loving birthday wishes. 🙏🏾🐝”

She shared another carousel of photos from the tropical locale where she’s enjoying the water with the rapper while wearing a black bathing suit. In one hand she holds a whiskey glass and in another a cigar. There were also photos of her feet from where she’s lounging on a recliner and some shots of a gorgeous rainbow.

The whiskey is a new brand directly from Beyoncé; she just launched SirDavis this month. The whiskey’s name is in honor of her great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, who was a farmer and moonshiner.

Of the connection, she wrote an open letter reading, “I feel you in the landscapes. Your laughter rolling in the rye. What songs did you sing? What gaps did you fill? Great-grandfather, did you dream of me? Your legacy is a force that drives me.”

She added, “For you, I raise my glass to legacy.”
