Kim Porter and Diddy’s children have spoken out about speculation surrounding the late model’s death.
Quincy Brown, 33, along with his siblings Christian, 26, and twins Jessie and D’Lila Combs, 17, shared a joint statement on social media about their mother, who died in 2018 at the age of 47.
Kim Porter and Diddy ‘s relationship lasted for many years and was on and off many times. They had three children together but never married. Model Kim Porter died in 2018, confirmed to be from pneumonia. Kim Porter’s death was brought up in the context of Diddy’s legal troubles.
Kim Porter and Diddy have three children together but are not married.
The music mogul faces life in prison if convicted of the charges. Diddy has denied all charges of extortion, sex trafficking and rape.
Amidst this context, a 58-page document called “Kim’s Lost Words: A journey for justice, from the other side” has appeared on social media, which is considered to be the memoir of the late model Kim Porter. It is believed that this book is based on Porter’s diary and notes.
The book was released on September 6 on Amazon and immediately shot to number 1 on the platform’s Literature and Fiction list.
The 58-page book, which is notably full of typos, describes disturbing and graphic sexual encounters allegedly involving Diddy and other high-profile stars, as well as allegations of physical abuse from the music mogul toward Porter.
Kim Porter with her 3 children
“We have seen so many hurtful and false rumors circulating about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs, and about our mother’s tragic death that we felt it was important to speak out,” Kim Porter and Diddy’s children said in a statement .
“The claims that Mom wrote a book are not true. She did not write one,” the post read.
They also criticized those who spread misinformation. “We are deeply saddened that the world has turned the most tragic event of our lives into a farce,” they added. ” Our mother should be remembered as a beautiful, strong, kind and loving woman. Her memory should not be tainted by horrifying conspiracy theories,” the Porter children shared.
Meanwhile, Poster’s children have not mentioned their father’s legal problems.
“Kim’s Lost Words: A journey for justice, from the other side” quickly ranked No. 1 on Amazon’s Literature and Fiction list a few days after its release.
Combs’ attorney, Erica Wolf, told PEOPLE that the memoir is “false,” “offensive” and “a brazen attempt to profit from a tragedy.” She added, “Chris Todd has no respect for Ms. Porter or her family, who deserve better.” The book’s cover features a picture of Porter and says it was written by “Jamal T. Millwood” for “Kimberly A. Porter.” Chris Todd (real name Todd Guzze) self-published the book under the pseudonym Millwood.
Todd Guzze, the alleged author, shared in an exclusive interview with Rolling Stone: “If someone held me accountable and they said, ‘Dead or alive, is that book true?’ I’d have to say I don’t know. But it’s true enough for me. Sometimes you have to put it out there. Maybe it’s not 100 percent true, but maybe 80 percent true. It’s to get those people to confirm or deny the claims, and that helps me as an investigator to know the truth.”
