Benny Blanco and Selena Gomez have been dating for almost a year and it seems they’re stronger than ever, with one source saying it wouldn’t be surprising if they got engaged

Selena Gomez has found “The One” in Benny Blanco, with one source suggesting they could be getting engaged very soon.

The pair started dating back in December 2023 and it seems things are only getting better for them as a couple. Selena has even admitted she had “never been loved this way” before dating Benny.

Now, a source has said the Only Murders In The Building star has found “exactly what she’s been needing in a partner” in Benny. They added: “She’s been telling friends that Benny’s The One.”

Benny “is supportive and lets Selena be herself,” the source said as they described him as “kind, generous, sincere and loyal”. The source also claimed there is “no competition between them, like there was with Justin [Bieber].”

Selena started dating Justin in 2009, but they split for the first time two years later. They seemed to have reunited in April 2013 and Justin confirmed their romance on Instagram a year later. Things didn’t last though and they split again in November 2014.

Just one month later, Justin sparked romance rumors with his now-wife Hailey Bieber. However, it turned out to be just rumors and by March 1 2018, Selena and Justin were back on. Just six days later, the pair decided to take a break and it didn’t take long for Justin and Hailey to rekindle their relationship.

After a brief fling with The Weeknd, Selena has now settled down with Benny. Speaking to Life and Style Magazine, the source suggested wedding bells could soon be ringing.

“No one would be surprised if they get engaged soon,” they said. Selena first sparked engagement rumors back in August as she took to her Instagram Story to share a snap of herself wearing a champagne-colored dress.

Benny posed alongside Selena in the snap, wearing a white tank top with blue floral pants. Selena covered her ring finger with a pink double heart emoji. She captioned the post: “A night out.”

Fans quickly speculated she was hiding an engagement ring. On X, one person suggested: “Selena Gomez is engaged. she is hiding the ring with heart emojis in her recent instagram story. congratulations to her and to Benny.”

Another said: “I think Selena Gomez just got engaged bc why is she covering her left hand on her latest IG story?” A third person wrote: “Selena gomez and Benny blanco are engaged. Congratulations #bennylena.”
